Lenovo owned Moto Z2 to be launched on June 8: Specifications, price and launch details.
Even after being sold out to the new owner, Lenovo, the all new Z2 Play is still going to come under the name “Moto” with is classy “M” sign at its back. The launch date is expected to be 8th June! The company has confirmed on Twitter the details of its new flagship phone. The Z2 is being seen as the successor of the Moto Z Play.
In confirmation to the company’s earlier announcements, the Moto Z2 Play will be packed with a 3000 mAh, Li-ion, non-removable battery. The size of the battery is kept small so as to make the phone slimmer. Although the predecessor, Moto Z, was packed with 3510 mAh battery and sized 7mm in thickness.
Other than this, the Z2 will have the latest version of Android, Nougat. It comes with a 2.2 Ghz Octa-core 626 Qualcom Snapdragon processor powered with 4 GB RAM. There will be two storage capacity options ie. 32GB and 64GB. The storage capacity can be increased up to 2TB externally.
Talking about the optics, the Z2 will have a 12MP rear snapper with Digital zoom, Auto flash, Face detection, Touch to Focus as the additional features. The rear cam is protected by a metal ring around it. For the selfies, there is a 8MP front camera with a flasher beside it.
The phone is 6 mm in thickness and will be available in Lunar Grey and Fine Gold colours. The display will be 5.5 inches IPS LCD with 720*1280 pixels. The lock and volume buttons are provided on the right side of the set.
With all these intriguing features, the Moto Z2 will available in the hands of the users at a price of Rs. 37,000 (Expected).
